NANS Booth Video

Blender geometry nodes + After Effects: a kinetic, attention-grabbing neuron cluster that pulls back to reveal the brand and open the NANS booth loop.

NANS Booth Video

TL;DR: I created the opening sequence for a North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) booth video: a firing cluster of stylized neurons built with Blender geometry nodes and a camera pull-back revealing the logo. I also animated several supporting sections of the booth video in After Effects.

Context

Trade-show loops have seconds to hook passersby. So I created and animated sylized neurons that “fire” and then transition cleanly into a branded content loop.

My Role

  • Concept & look-dev for the opener
  • Blender geometry nodes system for the cluster of neurons
  • Camera staging, lighting, render
  • After Effects animation for the logo reveal and additional booth sections and transitions
  • Final assembly and delivery for on-site playback

Approach

  • Neuron cluster: Procedural network connections built without hand-placing meshes.
  • “Firing” motif: Emissive pulses traverse connections; timing drives glow, bloom, and subtle chromatic dispersion for a “clinical-tech” feel.
  • Reveal: Animated camera dolly/zoom out from micro to macro; neuron density eases off and resolves into clean negative space around the logo lockup.
